Return Policy
Returns
Although we hope you love all your items, we understand that sometimes you may need to return your online purchase. We offer returns within 14 days of receiving your order. Returns have to be approved, then will be eligible for STORE CREDIT ONLY. After this timeframe it will not be eligible for return. We do not offer exchanges.
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ EVERYTHING BELOW
Because we value our customers, we are happy to provide free return shipping if the items are sent back within 7 days of the order delivery date. After this timeframe, return shipping costs will be at the expense of the customer and will be deducted from the store credit before it is issued. This means we will handle return shipping cost (no cost to you) for the first 7 days of the order delivery, but after this timeframe the customer will be responsible for the return postage even if returned within the 14 day period, and all shipping costs will be nonrefundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order receipt or proof of purchase. *Items will only be accepted for return if it is in original condition, so please be sure it meets the requirements before sending your item back.*
To start a return:
Please contact us at info@seven31boutique.com and be sure to include the first/last name on your order, order number, and the reason for your return inquiry.
We will do our best to get back to you within 24 business hours, but may take up to 48. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package.
Please DO NOT send back any merchandise without approval. It is possible it won't be accepted, and the customer will need to pay a reshipping fee to get it back. All shipping costs will be at the expense of the customer if an order is sent back without confirmation, and these shipping charges are nonrefundable.
All returns must be sent back to us within 7 DAYS of receiving the return shipping label from us. If items are sent back past the return policy period, the customer is subject to a 20% restocking fee (deducted from store credit before it is issued). Please make sure your return package is consistent with USPS Ground shipping rules and sizing so other fees do not apply to you.
Once we receive the return on our end, please allow us 5-7 business days to process your return. Once completed, we will issue the store credit to you and notify you via email. You will be accredited the amount owed of your item/order (either full amount or amount after deductions if they are applicable) which can be used at Seven 31 Boutique any desired time. Store credit does not expire.
If your return has any deductions made, this means you will not receive your original full total amount back, only the amount owed after.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Some items are not eligible for return. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item and we will be happy to assist. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on any sale items, accessories, final sale items, or gift cards. If you try to return a non-returnable item, store credit will not be issued (no exceptions).
Please remember that we also cannot accept returns after the 14 day period.
Please note the following expectations to our return policy:
- Discounted items greater than 20% are considered FINAL sale, as well as items found in the SALE tab, and cannot be returned.
- Accessories are not eligible for returns.
- Returned items must have original tags and packaging still attached to be accepted for return.
- Must be scent-free.
- Merchandise that has been washed will not be accepted.
- Items cannot have any physical signs of being tampered with (must be unaltered) if inquiring about a return... Must have NO physical signs of wear or use (no stains of any kind - makeup or deodorant, perfumes, or animal hair will not be accepted).
- If your purchase is past the 14 days from the day you received your order, it will not be eligible or accepted for a return.
Damaged items
You must report any damaged item within two days of receiving your package.
Email us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If we are at fault we will take care of the return cost. Please be sure to include clear pictures of the item in the email.
If an item in your order appears to have signs of damage, please email us at info@seven31boutique.com and include your first and last name on the order, the order number, and any photo evidence of the item. This must be done within 48 hours of delivery of the package. If it is reported after the 48 hours, it will be rejected.
Please note after your order ships, the liability is between you and the shipping facility. Unfortunately it is then out of our control and we are not responsible if your item is damaged during shipping due to the carrier. You will need to reach out to them directly to resolve the issue.
Although we are not responsible in the event that your package is lost, stolen, or damaged after it has been shipped and delivered, we do want try our best to help you in these predicaments. If this happens, let us know about your situation and we will reach back out to you.
*Color variation of merchandise due to computer monitor resolutions, lighting and photography lenses, or incorrect sizing by the customer are not qualified as damaged. These situations are not considered a defect/damage and the customer will pay for the return shipping in these cases. If the item appears to be worn it will be rejected. Damages to clothing by improper care or handling also do not qualify, as we are not responsible to damages caused by these actions.*
